Along the way, BJ helped lead the development and implementation of several new insurance programs specifically designed for our industry, always with one goal in mind: making sure our clients have access to the best products and coverage available.

Following the corporate restructuring of FLD at the end of 2025, BJ and his wife, Kristin, decided to take what they had built and opened BKR Risk, LLC, allowing them to continue doing what they love: serving clients in the Sports, Fitness & Entertainment industries and providing exceptional products and service.

When BJ isn't working, you'll usually find him spending time with his family in the Dallas suburbs, cheering on SMU and the Dallas Cowboys, playing golf, or fishing. BJ is also an SMU alumnus and, most importantly, a husband and dad to three teenage kids who keep life interesting.

She found her way into the world of Sports, Fitness & Entertainment insurance as a CSR with Francis L. Dean & Associates, where she quickly learned that this industry is anything but one-size-fits-all. Kristin worked alongside clients and agents to navigate the nuances of this unique niche and find the right insurance solutions for their specific needs. Somewhere along the way, she realized she really loved working with the clients, so she became an agent.

Today, Kristin brings that same customer-service mindset to every client relationship. Her priorities are simple:

• Respond with a sense of urgency
• Build relationships, not just policies

Kristin believes clients shouldn't have to chase their insurance agent for answers. She believes in being accessible, responsive, and invested in helping clients protect what they've worked so hard to build.

When she's not working, Kristin stays busy with her favorite people and activities: getting outdoors with her dog, hiking, working out, shopping with her two teenage daughters, and searching for the best restaurants DFW has to offer with her husband.

He works closely with gym owners, event organizers, facility operators and other organizations to understand how their business really runs and to put the right coverage in place.

Adam is a proud graduate of the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk!) and lives in Overland Park, KS, with his wife Bailey, their sons Emmett and Tate, and their goldendoodle, Sport. When he's not working, you'll find him at Chiefs and KU games, on summer trips to the lake, and on adventures with his kids.
